Option 1: Healthy (No Panko)

If you’re going for the healthy option, then here’s how to cook green beans so that they are as crispy as you’re going to get them!

  1. Prepare the Green Beans: Rinse and trim the green beans. Pat them dry with a towel.
  2. Season: Toss the green beans in a bowl with 1/2 tablespoon of olive oil, 1/8 teaspoon of salt, 1/8 teaspoon of pepper, and garlic powder if using.
  3. Air Fry: Arrange the green beans in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook at 400°F (204°C) for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through. The beans should be crisp-tender.

Option 2: Extra Crispy (With Panko)

However, if you’re in the mood for something a little bit crispier, but a tiny bit unhealthier, then I’d definitely recommend adding panko (I think it’s well worth it).
